Purpose
Specify what the photos will be used for:
- Publication (e.g., website, social media, press release, brochure)
- Internal use (e.g., reporting, intranet)
Explain the desired atmosphere or message you want to convey (e.g., professional, informal, inspiring, etc.).
Target audience
Who do you want to reach with the photos? This could be prospective students, researchers, colleagues or external partners. This will influence the style and setting.
Desired style
If possible, refer to examples from the university.
Consider:
- Natural light
- Active situations versus posed shots
- Diversity and inclusion
- A sense of space, recognisability and context (e.g., featuring recognisable Leiden locations)
Location and planning
Coordinate the following:
- Where and when will the photoshoot take place?
